On October 29-30, the Central Asian Forum on Laboratory Diagnostics – Innovations and Advancements was held at the Hilton Tashkent City Hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan with support from Mindray and LabForum companies. Medical Express Journal was an information partner of the forum.
Professor A.N. Aripov, Chief Laboratory Service Specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, opened the forum.
“Mindray Company Portfolio” was presented to the forum participants.
Professor T.V. Vavilova (St. Petersburg, the Russian Federation), the Head of Laboratory Medicine and Genetics Department at V.A. Almazov National Medical Research Center under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Chief External Specialist in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Dr. med. habil., delivered a presentation titled “Organization of Laboratory Service of the Russian Federation.”
A presentation on “Diagnostics of Socially Significant Infections through Immunochemiluminescence Method Using Mindray Reagent Base” was made by V. V. Shustov (Moscow, the Russian Federation), the Head of Immunochemistry Group of Clinical Immunology Laboratory at N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of St. Petersburg.
The President of Public Association “Federation of Laboratory Medicine” in Kazakhstan, the Chief External Specialist on Laboratory Diagnostics for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, J. N. Suleimenova, presented an “Overview of International Instruments for QMS Implementations in Practices of Clinical Laboratories.”
The Head of AKFA Medline Medical Center Laboratory, PhD in Biological Sciences A. Averyanova made a presentation about “Laboratory Diagnostics of TORCH Infections”. There were a number of other speakers as well.
